llms.txt is a proposed way to summarize site information for language-model use. It is not a universal standard or a substitute for ordinary Search controls.

If you still publish one, what it can and cannot do
A published llms.txt can curate links and descriptions for tools that choose to read it. It cannot compel crawling, override robots directives, or influence providers that have not adopted the convention, so judge any effect by documented adoption rather than assumption.
